WCS Glow Run 5K

Join us for the Wilson Wellness 5K and Color Run to benefit Wilson County Schools staff, students and parents to promote healthy lifestyles and fitness in our community! Prepare to be covered in green and blue by the time you reach the finish line! All ages are welcome! Teams are encouraged!

Registration begins at 8 am
Race starts at 9 am

Pre-Registration (ends March 31):
Cost is $30 per person  ($25 for WCS students and staff)
Kids 6 and under are free!

Late Registration (after March 31):
Cost is $35 per person  ($30 for WCS students and staff)
Kids 6 and under are free!

Registration includes a t-shirt!

Medals awarded to the top three male/female finishers in each age group!

PACKET PICK UP INFO:  Please pick up your race packets on race day.

DO I NEED TO BE AN AVID RUNNER TO PARTICIPATE?  No! We encourage all people of all fitness levels to come! You may choose to walk the course as well! This is an event in a series of health and wellness initiatives targeted for Wilson County Schools students and staff!

WHAT IS THE COLOR MADE OF?  The magical color powder we use is custom manufactured and produced right here in the United States. It is made from food-grade quality cornstarch using an advanced manufacturing process that has been custom developed for the Color Vibe Race Series. It is non-toxic, is 100% safe and also biodegradable. As with any substance, you will want to keep it out of your eyes and lungs. If you are overly sensitive, you may want to wear glasses or goggles for your eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for your mouth. (This is especially recommended for our younger runners/walkers). We suggest you bring towels to clean off after the race before you get in your car! 

CAN I WEAR A COSTUME?  Absolutely! Feel free to dress up and show your school spirit! 

WEATHER POLICY: The 5K will take place rain or shine. If cancellation of the event is warranted due to dangerous weather conditions, announcements will be made on race day at the race site. The event will not be cancelled in advance. All decisions regarding cancellation will
