Wind Wolves Preserve 10k/10 Mile Trail Run

Remember this event from last year? Yes it sold out quick and many missed out. This year we have made some changes to make it even better. The new date will let enjoy the great trails with some cooler weather and when the hills are covered in Spring colors. We know you will L-O-V-E everything about this great event. Altra Running will also be on site to present some cool prizes.

Wind Wolves Preserve

Wind Wolves Preserve is located just a short drive from Bakersfield. At 93,000 acres it is the West Coast's largest nonprofit preserve. Due to its vast elevation rages (640 to 6,005 feet) the preserve has an impressive array of landforms and habitats.

Common sites include Tule Elk, the endangered San Joaquin kit fox, blunt-nosed leopard lizard, and one of the largest stands of the endangered Bakersfield cactus. We are sure you will enjoy the course with all of the beauty the preserve has to offer.

Aid Stations

Aid stations will be located along the course and offer water, electrolyte drink, basic snacks, and of course some great volunteers to encourage you. Please make sure to bring a handheld water bottle or other hydration system since the aid stations will NOT have cups. This is to reduce waste and minimize any littering along the course.

Packet Pickup
We recommend that you pick up your race packet during Packet Pick-Up. You will receive your race bib, timing chip, tech race shirt and other race information.
