In spite of the difficult weather conditions, French François d’Haene won the race in 7:37:09. François had finished 2nd last year and had won the race in 2012.
Fabien Antolinos finished in 07:55:20, and Tom Owens took the third position with a time of 08:01:05.
Unfortunately, Luis Alberto Hernando had to drop in later stages of the race.
Emelie Forsberg dominated the women’s from start to finish. She crossed the finish line with a time of 09:24:09. The second place went to Alessandra Carlini (09:41:16) and the third to Maud Gobert (09:41:22).
Francesca Canepa dropped early in the race due to a bad fall.
319 runners finished the race.
