Marathon results
Edward Kipkorir Kiptum (2:40:12) outran more than 200 runners to win the 4th annual Puerto Rico Marathon in San Juan.
The only other runner to finish under three hours was Peter Kemboi (2:42:27).
Ernesto Silva finished a distance third at 3:05:03.

For the women, it was Maria De Lourdes Mendez Calaf (3:52:00) coming in just ahead of Jennifer Bohnenkamp (3:52:44) for first.
Rounding out the top three was Yarah Bobe with a time of 4:01:04.

Half Marathon results
Diego Moreno Panesso (1:12:47) managed to hold off last year’s runner-up Luis Rivera (1:12:58) to win the Puerto Rico Half Marathon.
More than 900 participants completed the course.
Alexander Colon took third with a time of 1:17:03.

For the women, it was Lineida Mateus Rojas (1:27:45) coming in well ahead of the field.
In a tight race for third, Maria Casta Eda (1:34:31) edged Nakima Sepulveda (1:34:43).
