5K for Venezuela and its Political Prisoners

This 5K race is a fundraiser to provide much-needed aid to the political prisoner and people in crisis in Venezuela. Severe shortages of medicines, medical supplies, and food leave many Venezuelans unable to feed their families adequately or access essential healthcare. Unfortunately, Venezuela is caught in a political tug-of-war, and their fate won’t be determined until the political situation begins to resolve.

The proceeds of this event will be used to ship donated food, supplies and medical items to the families who are currently starving and have no medical support.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 16th, 2019 starting at 9:00 am at Lake Charles Civic Center - 900 Lakeshore Dr. Lake Charles, LA 70601

5K Registration fee (includes shirt): $30.00 (To guarantee shirts register before October 31st)
