5K Pancake Run for Pike County Habitat for Humanity

This year, Pocono Woodland Lakes Community Association will host it’s first annual 5K Pancake Run.  The excitement and fun will be on Saturday April 28 from 8 am -12 noon at the Pocono Woodland Lakes Clubhouse located at 141 Marigold Lane.

The Woodlands community would like to give back to our community by raising awareness of a great local charity, Pike County Habitat for Humanity. The goal of the Woodlands 5K Pancake run is to get our community involved in a family friendly outdoor activity to raise funds to offset the cost of the important work that is done by Pike County Habitat for Humanity.

The funds raised at the event will help pay for the construction of new homes for well- deserving families in our community at a reduced cost to the homeowner. Eligible candidates will work side-by-side with volunteer members of Habitat for Humanity to build homes in Pike County. This program will afford eligible families and opportunity to become valued homeowners in our Pike County community.

We are excited very excited to host the first 5K run through the beautiful Pocono Woodland Lakes followed by a homemade breakfast of pancakes, sausage, bacon, bagels, assorted danish and doughnuts. Please consider working hand in hand with Pocono Woodland Lakes to provide the coordination and professionalism to help with an awareness and fundraising program to benefit Pike County Habitat for Humanity.
