PCHA -Illinois Conquering Congenital Heart Disease Walk/Run

Join us for our 7th Annual-Conquering CHD Walk/Run Illinois! Sunday - May 19th, 2019
College of DuPage - 425 Fawell Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 

Rain or Shine, the walk will take place! 

*Parking in College Lot 3 will bring you closest to the activity tents near the College's Student Resource Center. Enter from the East College Road Street, just across from the soccer fields. 

Registration is FREE for children under 18! Register online and pay only $15 

*Registering at the walk will increase to $20 day of the walk

*Participants that register online BEFORE April 1st, will receive a FREE walk t-shirt (Free shirt offer is for paid registrations only) 

Strollers, wagons, and motorized scooters are welcomed. 

Dogs welcomed to join walk & show community support. (Don't forget your pet waste bags please) 

Purchase your walk shirts and personalized heart warrior lawn sign. 

(Walk shirts can be picked up at walk registration table at the walk by walk team captain. 

Walk lawn signs will be displayed at the walk and are yours to keep after the walk) 

9:00am-Registration/Donation collection  *Walk registration is ONLY for participants who do NOT register online as well as collecting team donations.   10:00am-Walk Acknowledgements & Bereaved Hearts Remembrance  10:30am-Walk Begins 

*Once around the college is just under 2 miles, if you'd like to run you may do so but will start before walkers.

Join us before & after the walk for pictures, face painting, balloon making, crafts, special guest PCHA Mascot Echo, other characters/mascots, and more! 

*NEW TOP FUNDRAISING TEAM will receive VIP Tent the day of the walk with coffee and donuts!

Fundraising Prizes are for all individuals that fundraise for a walk team

The Pediatric Congenital Heart Association’s mission is to “Conquer Congenital Heart Disease.” We are accomplishing this through collaboration with patients, parents, providers, and partner organizations to improve quality and outcomes through CHD education, support, research and awareness. Our volunteer team has supported local heart families in Illinois since 2011, through comfort care bags kits, bereavement boxes, support meetings, family fun events, and so much more. PCHA-IL is run 100% by volunteer leaders that are heart parents, patients, and family members.
