Action For Distraction 5K Family Fun Run/Walk & Kids Action Marathon

A scenic, easy, family friendly out-and-back course that offers finishers medals for all participants, as well as age group awards three deep! The course features a paved surface, 3 people wide, the entire length of the 1.6 mile trail that meanders through scenic woodlands! Serious runners, casual walkers, families and strollers all welcome! T-shirts guaranteed for the first 250 registered participants. In addition, all elementary and middle school aged children registered for the race are welcome to participate in the Kid's Action Marathon. Log 23.1 miles of exercise before race day, and finish the last 3.1 with us to do a full marathon! Special prizes are awarded to all children who participate, and the school that gets the highest % of students to sign up will be awarded $500 to spend on their physical education programs! Benedict A. Cucinella in Long Valley currently holds the title and is the school to beat!
