About the event
Join us for a family friendly 5K on Naval Station Norfolk. Anchor Scholarship awards scholarships to Surface Navy families. Events like the 4th Annual Anchor Run help us increase awareness about our scholarships and build relationships with the Surface Navy community that we support.

One of our most popular events, the Anchor 5K, brings together commands, family members and our extended community for a wonderful run/walk along the waterfront and Dillingham Blvd. The top male and female runners overall and in their age groups receive awards. The command with the greatest participation has the honor of presenting a named scholarship to one of our 2016 recipients at our Annual Scholarship Award ceremony.
