Animal Rescue Kare- Dawgy Dash 5K

The ARK Dawgy Dash 5k is unique because we allow race participants to bring their dogs and walk in the race. This is a timed event. The Dawgy Dask 5K raises funds for ARK's spay/neuter program, animal fostering program, and building fund. All animal lovers are encouraged to attend. 

Why We Exist:

Realizing that Hart County Kentucky lacks a shelter for lost, unwanted, abused or neglected animals, we have joined together to form Animal Rescue Kare, LLC, a non-profit, federal-tax exempt animal welfare organization.  It is our goal to build a shelter, to provide necessary care, to improve the quality of life, for the needy animals in our area.  We hope to strengthen the bond between people and their animals through education and example.
