Annual Run, Walk, Ride

Event Information
Help McMinnville Area Habitat for Humanity reach our fundraising goal of $25,000 during the 13th Annual Run, Walk, Ride. All of the proceeds raised from this event are dedicated to supporting McMinnville Habitat and our mission to provide decent, safe and affordable housing for Yamhill County families.
Habitat for Humanity partners with low-income families by offering homeownership opportunities through the construction of simple, safe and affordable homes. Since 1991, we have constructed more than 44 homes in McMinnville and throughout Yamhill County.
Routes
You may choose to run, walk or ride on one of two routes: a 5K (3.1 miles) through McMinnville neighborhoods, or a 10K (6.2 miles) reaching the northwestern city limits. These events are professionally timed for those interested in finishing with a personal best!
Extended Bike Routes
For those of you looking for a more challenging bike ride, we have a 40 mile course through the scenic Yamhill Valley foothills, which also includes 14 mile and 27 mile options. The extended bike ride starts at 8 a.m. and is not a timed event.
Kids Fun Run
Returning this year is a Kids Fun Run, starting at 10:00am. The little ones will compete in a 1/8 mile dash at the event site. Ribbons will be awarded to all participants. Registration costs $10 per participant and includes an event t-shirt.
Teams
Teams compete to raise money for McMinnville Area Habitat for Humanity, and the team that raises the most is awarded a traveling trophy at the end of the event.
To get started, email the name of your team to Diane Longaker. Your team may register online and pay individually or you can have each team member fill out and sign a race brochure and pay over the phone or in the office. Team members can also join during registration. Every captain who registers a team of 12 or more will receive a free sweatshirt.
All fundraising money must be turned in to count toward the team score.
Schedule
You can register or pick up bibs and goodie bags (first 200 registrants) from 7:30-8:30 a.m. The Extended Bike starts at 8:00am, and all other races start at 9:00 a.m. The Kids Fun Run is at 10:00am. Food, vendors and celebration begin at 8:30am and last until all bikers have finished the course. All courses close at noon.

Registration, Start and Celebration take place at Duniway Middle School, entrance located at 575 NW Michelbook Lane, McMinnville, Oregon.
