Participation: We want all runners and walkers from the surrounding area. Help us make this a real community event. Can’t do 3 miles? We can tell you a short cut for a shorter option. Please bring a friend or family member to join you in this super festive event.
Volunteers: We are also looking for volunteers. No experience necessary. We need people to give directions, hand out water, collect registration, and more. (Great community activity for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc.)
Businesses and Organizations: We are looking for donations and volunteers, but also PARTICIPATION. If you want to help sponsor this event, door prizes, goody bag stuffers (pens, food bars, etc), and monetary donations are greatly appreciated. Contact Dale for more details or to notify him of your desire to assist in the community event.
Route: Starts and ends near Anytime Fitness-Hebron. This is an out and back course that winds through the Park Place neighborhood. (see route on map)
Christmas Caroling and Cheer Stations: We want carolers and musicians. Are you in a choir or singing group? Do you and/or your friends play instruments? Do you and your friends enjoy singing? Would you, your church, or organization participate? We’d love to have you on the course singing and/or playing holiday carols. If you don’t sing or play an instrument, gather some of your friends to stand on the course and cheer on the walkers and runners!
Decorations: If you live in the Park Place neighborhood, please decorate your home. Play holiday music from your garage, front porch, or yard. Help make Park Place the brightest and most festive neighborhood in Porter County. Please turn on your outside lights between 6pm and 7pm. It’s really helpful to the runners to have the course lit up. Show your town pride by having your house lit up for this festive occasion.
SWAG/Fun Stuff: Participation Award while supplies last. Goody Bags, Post Race Snacks, Beverages and Door Prizes.
Donations: Monetary and Food Donations for the Hebron Food Pantry will be collected. No minimum or maximum amount is required.
