APS Rocks and Runs 5k

Please join us Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Brown Middle School for our inaugural Atlanta Public Schools (APS) 5K--the APS Rocks and Runs 5K! The APS Rocks and Runs 5K and Character Fun Run will benefit APS Teachers during National Teacher Appreciation Week! Price includes race bib and a commemorative T-shirt and all proceeds benefit APS Teachers and will go toward an appreciation gift for them. APS Teachers and Paraprofessionals run for FREE. The event hashtag is: #APSRocks5K
 
Attire: Show your school spirit and wear your favorite APS school shirt! The character fun runners should dress up as your favorite book character!
 
Location: The race will start and finish at Brown Middle School: 765 Peeples St., SE 30310.
 
Registration: Race Day check-in is from 6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Start time for all participants is 8:00AM. The Character Fun Run begins at 8:45 a.m. and is only for elementary school students.
 
Packet pick up will be available at the Alonzo A. Crim Center for Learning and Leadership  (130 Trinity Avenue, SW, Atlanta 30303) on Friday, May 3 from 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
 
Registration and packet pick up will also be available on race day in the Brown Middle School Gymnasium starting at 6:00am. 
 
 
Pricing:
Adult Pre-registration:$30 (Ends April 14); Adult Late and Onsite Registration: $40
Student Pre–registration and onsite: $10 (must be 18yrs and younger)

7:45AM - Opening Ceremony

8:00AM - 5K Starts

6:30AM – 8:30AM - Character Fun Runners & Walkers Check-in and Registration (In the Gym)

8:45AM - Character Fun Run Starts

9:15AM - Closing Ceremony & Awards
