Arthur Frick 5K Walk/Run

This is a 5k Walk/Run that is the senior project for, Dakota, to raise money for current cancer patients. Awards will be given to the Top 10 Men and Top 10 Women finishers. Below is a note from Dakota regarding her senior project.

Hello,

           I am a Senior at NSHS & currently working on my Senior project. I have decided to host a 5K Walk/Run in memory of my grandfather, Arthur Frick. He passed away from Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2012. After seeing my grandfather go through cancer treatments, I have seen 1st hand that there are items that can help make this process a little more manageable. Some of these items are: blankets, hats, pillows, snacks and stuffed animals.  With the proceeds from the sponsors & participants of the 5K, I will go and purchase these items and take them to the patients. Thank you for helping me to make things a little easier for some of the people that are on the toughest journey of their lives.
