The American Traffic Safety Services Foundation is a 501© 3 charity that exists to promote roadway safety through charitable giving and public awareness programs. Our programs support of families of fallen or permanently disabled work zone workers and educates the next generation of road users about work zone safety.
The ATSS Foundation is hosting a virtual Fun Run and Roadway Safety Challenge! Participants can choose between a 5k Fun Run or a 32 mile Roadway Safety Challenge (to celebrate The Foundation’s 32nd anniversary).
When: Virtually anytime between May 1-16, 2021
Where: That’s the best part – runners and walkers can complete their virtual race anywhere they want. Treadmill, park, neighborhood, trails, or track.
Swag: Participants will receive a T-shirt and a finisher’s coin. Register before May 2 to ensure you receive a commemorative T-shirt and finisher’s coin. Supplies are limited, participants who register after May 2 are not guaranteed commemorative items or their requested size selection.
How to participate:
1. Register for the event.
2. Consider joining or creating a group or team.
3. Run or walk the race between May 1-16. Don’t forget to wear your race T-shirt!
4. Take lots of photos during your run/walk and share them in the “Photo Album” in the RunSignUp platform or share on social media and tag #ATSSFoundation.
5. Submit your race results in the FunSignUp platform.
