Registration for the Avon 5K has been temporarily suspended. We have done this so that we may be guided by the best public health guidance available as we approach the scheduled date for the race, August 29. Because most runners register on-line, we will be able to open up registration and complete it within a short period of time. Thank you for your understanding.
I already registered. What happens to my registration? Your registration has been automatically carried over to the August 29 date. No action is needed on your part. This is true whether you registered through RunSignUp or registered by mail. When will registration re-open? We will make that decision based on the best available public health information, and in the best interests of our runners and our many race volunteers. Can I defer my registration to 2021? Yes. If you already registered, you can defer your entry to 2021 if you prefer. You can defer you registration by logging on to RunSignup > Manage Registration > Deferrals. Can I get a refund? Yes. If you already registered through RunSignUp, you can request a refund on this website. Click “More” on the race’s homepage. If you registered by mail, please email [email protected] and a refund will be sent by check, to the address on your race entry.
