Backward Mile

Run or walk one mile in reverse.  Backward Mile is a fun family run for a great cause.  Runners start at the finish line and end at the start line.  Time counts backward, runners dress backward, run backward and receive a backward race shirt.  Instead of receiving a finisher medal, runners turn in an old race medal.  Backward Mile collects an old race medal from each participant, then donates those medals to Medals4Mettle.  This is a great opportunity for runners and the community to really impact the lives of those living with chronic or debilitating illnesses.  Backward Mile medals are distributed locally to Benjamin’s Hope in Holland, MI.
