Bark in the Park - Maumee

Grab your sneakers and fetch a furry friend for the Toledo Area Humane Society’s 33rd Annual Bark in the Park! This pet friendly 5K Run & 1.25 Mile Walk is a great way to get your family and friends outside for a fun morning. This year's Bark in the Park will be held at Side Cut Metropark at the Maumee Rotary Pavilion. Registration will open at 9 a.m., runners will take off at 10 a.m., and the walk with begin at 10:30 a.m..There will be games for kids and pups alike, great food and live entertainment until 1 p.m. All funds raised at Bark in the Park go directly to caring for the nearly 5,000 animals that come to our shelter every year. So come out with your favorite four-legged friend to support a great cause! To earn awesome event prizes, set your fundraising goal for at least $75!

Create a Pack: Bark in the Park is a great way to have fun with friends and family by coming together in support of needy animals in your community. Gather everyone you know including classmates and coworkers to form a pack and start raising money today! Packs should be a minimum of five people and each pack should set their fundraising goal to a minimum of $500. Let the fun begin!

 -RAISE $500+ Receive TAHS walk t-shirt, dog bandana, water bottle, bracelet, bag, picnic blanket, portable cooler, and folding chair

 -RAISE $250+ Receive TAHS  walk t-shirt, dog bandana, water bottle, bracelet, bag, and picnic blanket

 -RAISE $150+ Receive TAHS walk t-shirt, dog bandana, water bottle and bracelet

 -RAISE $75+ Receive TAHS walk t-shirt and dog bandana

-RUNNERS- Flat fee to run is $30 and includes TAHS water bottle. Dogs are welcome to run with their owner(s). We ask that runners DO NOT use retractable leashes while running with their dogs. We thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Additional prizes will be awarded for Top Individual Fundraiser, Top Fundraising Pack, and Top Junior Fundraiser. 

Top Junior Fundraiser Prize: Toledo Zoo Family Membership and Four person day passes for Splash Universe Water Park.

Top Individual Fundraiser Prize: $25.00 gift card to PetSmart and gift basket from Pet Wants Perrysburg and Glass City Dog Park membership.

Top Fundraising Pack Prize: 10 tickets to the July 21st Mud Hens game along with Muddy Bucks to pay for all food and beverages during the the game and a Chipotle “Burritos by the Box for 10 people” gift card.
