Join us for the first Raiders Challenge Run-Finish on the 50. This event supports the Benjamin Logan Athletic Boosters to provide our student athletics programs with the needed equipment and supplies. This 5K and 1 Mile run/walk is a way to show your support and to challenge you with your personal fitness level. Whether you choose to Run or Walk a 5K or a 1 Mile, you can be a part of improving your health and supporting Benjamin Logan athletes. Both the 5K and 1 Mile course will start and end on the high school track, at the 50 yard line. It is an out and back course.
At this time it is uncertain what the health and safety concerns related to COVID might be in April 2021. However, we will be planning the in-person 5K and 1 Mile runs, in addition to offering a Virtual option, with the safety of our participants and volunteers in mind. The current protocol for events is to be outdoors, eliminate “touch points”, maintain distance and use face coverings. We will continue to monitor the CDC recommendations and state guidelines to assure the event is safe. As we get closer to the race day, we might be developing wave starts and other distancing measures.
Early registration allows time to order the correct number of shirts for all participants. We can only guarantee availability of shirts for those participants who have registered by April 10, 2021. If registering for the race after 4/10/21, there will be limited shirt availability.
The Athletic Boosters support our student athletes with uniforms, Hall of Fame pictures and plaques, weight equipment, record boards, locker room improvements, Cheerleading supplies, CBC awards and scholarships. The Athletic Boosters provide support for all high school and middle school supports. The sports include: Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cheer, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Track & Field, Volleyball and Wrestling.
We are excited to be able to hold this event and look forward to local runners, our students, families and the community to join us with the Challenge Run.
