Big Dam 8.0K Race and 1 Mile Fun Walk

Celebrate 80 years of the Norris Dam at this one-time special event. Run the 8.0K (just less than 5 miles) or walk a 2 mile route on July 30, 2016.

Date, Time, and Place: July 30, 2016 at 8:00 am at Norris Dam.

Parking: All participants will park at the Museum of Appalachia and take buses to the event site.

Cost (NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS): 8.0K - $30 through July 13 then $35 through July 27. $40 on race day. KTC Discount applies to 8.0K registration only. In celebration of the March of Dimes, the walk will be $.10 (yes, that's right) through July 27 and on race day. 

T-Shirts: 8.0K Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt with their registration. 2 Mile Fun Walk participants can purchase a t-shirt for $5 during registration.

Course: The route will be USATF certified and will take participants over the Dam and back. The walk will follow the greenway. The walk will not be timed.

Bag Check: An area for bag check will be provided on race day. KTC, TVA, and event organizers are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
