About the event
The challenging 5K race starts on the school grounds at 8701 Polk Street in Bon Air, winds down Rattlesnake Road, through Brookwood Estates, and then back to the school. Two water stations are located along the route. Those not walking or running in the Bon Air 5K are encouraged to line the course to cheer for participants as they make their way towards the finish.
Bon Air Elementary School is a Chesterfield County public school with about 650 students located at 8701 Polk Street. The school emphasizes core values of caring, cooperation, open-mindedness, honesty, accountability and responsibility.
