Break the Ice 5K and Frosty Dash

6th Annual Break the Ice 5k Run, Walk, and Kid's Frosty Dash!  Separate results and awards for walkers! As you sign up please select either 5K Run or 5K Walk. Fundraising races for the South Haven Public Schools Middle and High School Cross-Country teams. This race is professionally timed using chip timing. FAST COURSE!  PACKET PICK - UP AND LATE REGISTRATION INFORMATION: FRIDAY January 31 at South Haven High School from 5 - 7 pm. Please try to park in front of the High School. SATURDAY February 1 at Black River Tavern downstairs (located very close to the start of the race) 8 - 9:45 am. Restrooms will also be available at this location.  RACE DAY INFORMATION: Late Registration Downstairs at the Black River Tavern 8-9:45 am (restrooms available as well). Race Starts at 10 am at the corner of Eagle and Kalamazoo St. Finish line area will be on Water St. next to the Municipal Marina. All post race food, raffle prize drawings, and awards will be at the Municipal Marina on Water St. KIDS DASH: will start at 11 am and we will meet at the Municipal Marina (near the finish line of the 5K) do a quick warm-up to the start and finish at the 5K finish-line. The event kick-off at 10 a.m. with the start of the 5K Run/Walk followed by the Frosty Kids Dash at 11a.m. Late Registration and Early Packet Pick-up: Day Before: Friday, January 31 from 5p.m.-7p.m. at the South Haven High School in the please park in the front of the high school and go in the front entrance. Day of the Race: February 1 at 8a.m.-9:45a.m. at Black River Tavern (downstairs) in downtown South Haven on the corner of Kalamazoo Street and Pheonix Street. Restrooms for your use are also located at Black River Tavern. Event participants will begin the 5K Run/Walk starting in downtown South Haven and enjoy scenic views of our downtown area. The Kids Dash will take place on Water Street near South Beach at 11 am. Run and Walk Award Divisions:

Ice Breaker Festival, now in its 27th year, Ice Breaker Festival (January 31 - February 2 2020) promises winter fun for the whole family. West Michigan’s predominant and growing winter festival is showcasing dazzling ice sculptures, Chili Cook-off, Pub Slide, outdoor ice skating, horse drawn wagon rides, s’mores roasting, snowball throwing competition and many more exciting activities throughout downtown South Haven.
