ByronRocks 5k/10k

Byron Rocks 5K/10K kicks off an amazing year of fitness for the Byron Community. The Byron Chamber of Commerce is known for putting on exciting events such as ByronFest, ChiliFest and more. This year they have partnered with Power Combat Fitness to bring to the area it’s first ever 10K Race.
Byron is in the heart of Ogle County. This active community works hard and plays hard and this is why we wanted to bring a twist to this years event and host it on Cinco De Mayo. The race will begin in the heart of downtown Byron and run along the bike path in front of our amazing schools. We will have a live DJ to pump you up and send you off and give you encouragement as you cross the finish line.
5K will begin promptly at 8 a.m. and is followed by the 10K at 9:15 a.m. We invite all of our spectators and runners to join us after the race for food, beer and refreshments. We look forward to seeing you all there!
