CDERF 5k Glow Run

Come out and support a wonderful cause! This race will be begin at the Jennings Park & Recreation parking lot, located at 1206 E Academy Ave. We thank you for your participation and you will be helping many deserving children through this event!

About this event:
This is a family fun walk/run to raise awareness about Childhood Diabetes as well as benefit local children suffering with this disease. For this year's event, awards will be handed out to the top 3 finishers. Time will not be kept and runners arriving after race start may begin at their leisure.

Event Details:
Pre-registration deadline will be midnight on Friday, June 10, 2016.

Registration on race day will begin at 7:00pm and will end promptly at 7:30pm.

The race will begin at 8:00pm sharp.

Pre-registered participants(those registered before the 6/10 deadline) will receive a shirt, glow wear and race bag at the event.

Participants can bring their own glow items to the event. Free face painting will be done as well, starting at 7:00pm.

Following the race, a "Glowing Martial Arts Exhibition" performed at 9:00pm.

Drinks and music will be provided during and after the race. Food will be available for free to participants after the race. Plates will be $5 for non-participants.

Route:
The run will start at the west entrance of the Jennings Park & Recreation parking lot and travel east on East Academy, turning right onto River Oak Dr., circling the subdivision and retracing the route back to the starting line.
