Cinco de Mayo 5K Run/Walk - Lansing

DESCRIPTION
What started off as a fun and healthy idea to create Lansing’s first Latino based 5K Run/Walk in several years has become reality as Cafecito Caliente is putting together its first of two 5K events this year. Lansing’s Rivertrail will be used beginning at Maguire Park which is located at 4900 N. Aurelius Rd. on Lansing’s south side where Jolly Rd. and Aurelius meet.

Be sure to invite friends and create a team of 4+, as each team member will save $5. Family, spring time and friends. Does it get any better?

Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at the Grand Cafe Sir Pizza located in Lansing’s Old Town as well as on race morning. More details will be announced soon so please check back.

Cafecito Caliente is fast becoming a name in the Lansing community for creating or hosting events celebrating the Latino culture. A list of our events include: Latinos2College (at MSU since 2010); Latino Day with the Lugnuts (since 2012); Cafecito Caliente Discount Card (since 2016); Cafecito Caliente Networking Night (since 2017) to go along with a pair of 5K Run/Walk Events. The second one will be held also at Maguire Park on September 15, 2018 called the Cafecito Caliente 5K Run/Walk complete with Un Cafecito and Pan Dulce (coffe and Mexican sweet bread).
