Racine Youth Sports

Racine Youth Sports provides quality, structured youth sport activities to the children of Racine County. The developmental programs  teach sports fundamentals, good sportsmanship, character, discipline, competitiveness, and teamwork in a positive, caring and safe environment. Participants have an equal opportunity to learn and compete while knowledgeable volunteers will promote the philosophies and principles of community and fair play.

Course description:

Starting at Jose’s Blue Sombrero through the Pike River Preserve in Mount Pleasant, WI and back to Jose’s for some TEQUILLA!

Directions to start:

The run starts promptly at 9:00 am. We recommend arriving early and giving yourself enough time to get your race packet and get to the start line. Runners should start in the front. Walkers toward the back. Anyone with a stroller will need to start in back.

Parking:

Parking is available throughout Jose’s parking lot and neighboring businesses. To help minimize traffic near the start/finish line, no vehicles will be able to enter or exit Jose’s parking between 8:30 and 10:15 a.m. If you need to depart before 10:15 a.m. we suggest using one of the neighboring businesses to park. 

Awards info:

All participants will receive a custom finishers medal.Top three male and female will be recognized as well as the top male and female in respective 5 year age groups.

·        9 and under

·        5 year age categories (starting at 10yrs old on up)

Chip Timing

If you wish to be timed, your chips will be issued to you with your race bibs. You must properlly wear the race bib on the front of your shirts and the timing chips on your shoes during the event to be scored. Race chips are disposable and do not need to be returned.
