The 2017 Color Blast 5k

The Color Blast 5k is a run/walk color celebration to recognize the positive impact individuals with special needs have on our lives, to acknowledge their abilities, and help spread awareness! 

The Color Blast 5k is brought to you by five Owensboro non-profits, Puzzle Pieces, GRADSA, Dream Riders of KY, Team Karlie and Wendell Foster's Campus, whose common mission is to support and enhance the quality of life of those with disabilities.  Your participation in this event will 100% directly benefit theses host organizations. 

The objective of the 5K event: participants wear white (don’t forget to have fun with it using headbands, tall socks, tutus, anything white) and along the run/walk route participants will be showered with a safe and non-toxic COLORED POWDER at each mile marker. The color fun continues to the After Party involving a color shower as a group. We encourage families, schools, church groups, and friends to get involved in this non-competitive 5K event to have fun and support a great cause!

Students are $15.00 and Starting March 4th adults are $35.00, 5 and under are free but do not receive a shirt or powder (if you want them to have these item please register as a student)  Thanks!

You will receive a FREE GIVEAWAY Race Shirt with your registration.  Only those who register before March 3th, 2017 will be guaranteed you a shirt.  We ALWAYS do our very best to accomadate everyone!!!  Please register early!

After March 3th, although we try our very best, we can not guarantee you will receive your size or receive a shirt.  We have deadlines to order from our manufacture and have to make estimates after March 3th.  Thank you for participating in our fundraiser to benefit those with special needs.
