Looking for a fun run for the entire family? Don’t miss the 8th annual Coyote 5K Classic and 1 mile fun run on Sunday, October 1st in Golden, CO at 8:30 am. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we are proud to offer one of the most affordable 5k events in metro-Denver. All registrants receive a great tech t-shirt and a chance to win prizes.

 
Course description:

The 5k course is nestled next to Apex open space and has stunning views of Golden's Table Mountains and Boulder's Flatirons. The 5k starts and finishes at Shelton Elementary in Golden, CO. The course is hilly and challenging but will reward you with beautiful views. The 1-mile fun run will take place on Shelton Elementary school field and nearby park and bike trail.

Parking:

There is a parking lot in front of the school. Please help us be a sustainable event by carpooling, biking, or walking to the start.

 
Awards info:

The top three male and female 5K runners will receive a running voucher from Vital Outdoors for running shoes. We will also award the top male and female 5K runners in the following age groups, 6-younger, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17 years old, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-older

Raffle tickets will be sold for your chance to win incredible Baskets. Be sure to bring your credit card, cash, or check.

 
No Dogs please!

For the safety of all runners, no dogs will be allowed on the 1 mile and 5K course

 
Sustainable event

We are a sustainable event. Please carpool, walk, or bike to the event. We only use compostable cups and will have recycling containers at the event.

Registration info:

Regsitration fees increase on September 18th.  Register before this date to take advantage of the discounted price and to guarantee your t-shirt and desired size.  Prices increase on September 18th and we cannot guarantee a t-shirt after this date.  

All proceeds benefit Shelton elementary school.
