Crime Victims' Empowerment Run/ Walk

November 02, 2019

RACE – This is a race through the trails of Halpatiokee Park in Stuart,Fl.  Halpatiokee is an easily accessible park just off of the Kanner Highway I 95 exit.  There is the possibility of some water, but most of the trail is dry 95% of the time.  The course takes runners through the beautiful Florida habitats of low-lying hammocks and fern forests, and out into more open pine scrub.  Half of this trail is an almost completely shaded technical single track, while the other half is an un-shaded jeep wide trail made up of a a combination of compressed grass and sand. The 5k is one lap and the 10k is 2 laps of the same course.  Timing for this race is provided by MCM Timing.

CAUSE BENEFITS - The 19th judicial circuit victims rights coalition is comprised of agencies that help crime victims. We are holding this event in recognition of those who have suffered a victimization. Our goal is to raise awareness and to raise funds. We simply want to help MORE people. Help us to do that! We look forward to uniting and reaching our goal.
