Come and be part of the ‘10th Year Anniversary’ of running green for Crossroads! Door County’s First and Only Trail Run welcomes all runners and walkers to Crossroads at Big Creek Environmental Learning Preserves in beautiful Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
This race is free for participants 7 and younger and 70 and over, when you register
Three levels of courses: 2k fun run/walk, and 5k and 10k runs with chip timing
Trails take you through coniferous woods, over wooden bridges crossing Big Creek, weaving through meadows, old orchards, past the Maki Arboretum and beyond. The trail includes single and double track, with wood chip, gravel, and dirt foundations. Each mile is marked.
In celebration of our 10th anniversary, all finishers receive a native tree donated by Evergreen Nursery PLUS a cherry wood medallion award
All participants receive a Green Layer performance shirt
Post Event Refreshments: Homemade vanilla ice cream, Door County cherries and freshly made energy squares
Awards made locally by artists and businesses
Proceeds from the event support the Crossroads Ski-for-Free program and the general fund
Race also promotes wellness and healthy living, cross-generational recreation and increases awareness of ‘green’ living in our community
