Dyersburg Dream Factory 5K

We're excited for our second annual 5K! Thanks to everyone who supported the event in 2023, and we look forward to growing each year!

To help raise funds to grant dreams for critically and chronically ill children, the Dyersburg Dream Factory 5K will be hosted at Okeena Park on Saturday, September 21, 2024. We're super excited that you'll be joining us! Please pre-register online, but if not then we'll have day-of registration from 7 AM until 7:45 AM. The 5K race starts at 8 AM, following by 5K awards at 9 AM, the free quarter-mile kids' race at 9:30 AM and the free one-mile walk for all ages at 9:45 AM. There will also be a hotdog cookout starting at 11 AM. This cookout is for everyone with donations accepted by non-Dream Factory families. Each participant in the 5K will receive a shirt, and awards will be presented to the top-3 overall male and female, plus the top-3 male and female in the following categories: 15-under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Additionally, all finishers in the kids' race will receive an award.

The Dream Factory is a national children's wish-granting organization that grants dreams to children ages 3-18 with critical and chronic illnesses. The Dyersburg Chapter is one of 32 chapters across the country and raises funds and grants dreams to children in the Dyersburg area. More than 95% of all donations go directly to the mission!
