East Eden Tavern One Down One Up

Come run your fastest mile EVER!!  

1 Mile Course is now Certified and being Chip timed by Big White Trailer Timing. 

Race starts at the top of the hill in front of the East Eden Tavern. 

Race #1 6:30, Downhill mile

RACE #2 Uphill mile will start after all runners complete the downhill course.

There will be a few waves for elite male, elite female, and open categories.  

At the conclusion of the downhill portion of the race, that's when the REAL CHALLENGE begins!  Run, walk, or crawl the 1 mile back up the hill to the second finish line.  

Races will be chip timed separately, but winning times will be awarded based on total time of the 2 races. 
Awards will be as follows:

1st place over all male and female.

1st place masters overall male and female.

1st place male and female in 5 year age groups, starting with 14-19.

This will be race 2 of 3 in the WNY Downhill Series.

There will awards given to participants who compete in ALL 3 series races:

GBTC 1 mile on 6/29.

The East Eden Tavern DOWNHILL RACE  on 7/12 

The Checkers 1mile on 8/10.

USATF Certified.
