EPIC 5K & 1 Mile Walk for Life (Kinston)

Come be a part of our Run Baby Run 5K / 1 Mile Walk 4 Life on AUGUST 22, 2020! Work off those extra COVID19-quarantine pounds by running/walking to show your support for what we do!

 

COURSE: The 5K Race Course is mostly flat and goes through the neighborhood around Grainger Stadium where it begins and ends

TIME: The 5K run will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the 1MileWalk4Life will begin at 8:30 a.m.

5K ENTRY FEE: Early bird registration is $30.00 per individual /$55.00 for family (2 adults & 2 kids under 18 years/$15.00 for each additional child). Regular registration is $35.00 per individual /$60.00 for family (2 adults & 2 kids under 18 years/$20.00 for each additional child).

Walk4Life ENTRY FEE: Early bird registration is $10.00 per individual /$15.00 for family (2 adults & 2 kids under 18 years/$5.00 for each additional child). Regular registration is $15.00 per individual /$20.00 for family (2 adults & 2 kids under 18 years/$10.00 for each additional child).

ALL entry fees include 1 tee-shirt per individual and 1 per family (additional tee shirts are available $10 each on race day). Last day for early bird price is August 2nd.

AWARDS: For the 5K, the top three overall male & female finishers and only first-place finishers in each age group: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over. All finishers receive time and place. Post-race snacks will be provided! Results will be posted right here under the 'RESULTS' tab on this page!

SIGN-UP: Sign up now through race day! Race day registration and packet pick-up will begin Saturday at 6:30 a.m. in the Grainger Stadium parking lot.

Why this is a good cause:
These funds will help the center continue to provide free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound, and pregnancy support services to young women and men in our community who find themselves facing an unplanned pregnancy. We offer prenatal and parenting classes in exchange for free baby supplies. We have the pleasure of serving Craven, Greene, Lenoir, Jones, and Pamlico Counties. Ultimately we're here to help families thrive!

• EARLY BIRD: Now through August 2nd – $30
• Regular Registration: August 3rd through race day – $35
*No free T-shirt after August 2nd
