5K run and 2 mile fun run/walk for the whole family, all to support the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington’s sight-saving mission!

Fun Run

The Fun Run begins along the same route as the 5K, but participants will exit at a “bail-out point” and take a shortcut back! Run or walk this route that’s a little more than 2 miles. The race begins at 8:45 a.m. Stay tuned for information on pre-event packet pickup.

Participants in the Fun Run will not be timed. Children under five do not need to be registered to ride in a stroller.

Register early and save! Day-of registration will be available for $60 and will not be guaranteed a T-shirt.

This is a USATF-certified course. The race begins at 8:45 a.m. Stay tuned for information on pre-event packet pickup. Times will be posted at youreyes.org/events/eye-run-for-pob

Awards will be given to the 5K finishers in 18 categories:
Top male and female – Overall; 9 & Under; 10-12; 13-15; 16-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-60; and Masters
Awards will be presented at 10 a.m. at the Vision Health Fair.
