FAME-ous 5k | Fun Run for Brookhill - AL

Come join FAME Academy @ Brookhill for their first annual 5K and 1 mile fun run.  ALL paces are welcome.                                  

DESCRIPTION: FAME Academy at Brookhill is a K-3 fine arts academy where fine arts meet education. As a way of bringing Fine arts into our run, we would like to encourage all participants (and spectators) to dress as your favorite film character or hero as you run to help us raise money for overall campus improvements. Each registrant will receive a FAME-ous 5K/ Fun Run shirt and a goodie bag. At the day of the event we will try to provide as many fun activities as possible to really create a fun experience for all.

All proceeds for this years run will go towards helping us raise the funds needed to pave the track in the back of the school. As a part of physical and health education, our students often utilize the track for physical activities and fitness testing. The track is also used for Field Day and other staff vs student related events.  The safety of a non-paved track has always been a concern and has certainly limited students from being able to reach full potential. Through your support, we would like to provide the best for our students.

DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE:
- 6:30am   Registration & Same Day Packet Pick up opens
- 8:30am   5k Race start
- 10:00am  Fun Run around the Track starts
- 11:00am  Awards Ceremony

ENTRY FEE:
- 5k (also includes fun run)
- Early Registration (closes March 30th): $30                                    
- Late Registration (After April 1st): $40 - Cannot guarantee a shirt on race day 

FUNRUN (only goodie bag):
- Early Registration (closes March 15th): $20                                  
- Late Registration (After April 1st): $30  
- 5 & Under -- FREE 

DAY OF REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK UP:
- Packet pick up will take place on race day @ Fame Academy at Brookhill from 6:30am ~ 8am

AMENITIES:
- T-SHIRTS: Shirts are guaranteed if registered before April 1st. Shirts are not guaranteed on race day for registrants after April 1st -- but we can still place the order and pick-up will be at shirt shop. 
- Goodie Bag

5K AWARDS:
- Top 3 Males and Top 3 Females 
- Top 3 Boys & Top 3 Girls ages 12 & under

FUN RUN AWARDS:
All participants will receive a ribbon
