About the event
The FIGHT Club "FIGHT for Your Life" D5 Community Health & Wellness 5K Color Run is a fun event created to support and encourage healthy lifestyles for those who live within our community. This is an opportunity for us all to come together to set and accomplish goals that lead to a healthier way of living. The proceeds from this race will help benefit the Byrnes High School FIGHT Club; which is a get-fit weight loss program for high school students and teachers. FIGHT stands for ‘Friends Into Getting Healthy Together’. The BHS FIGHT Club will also donate a portion of the proceeds to the Carpenter’s Table and the Middle Tyger Community Center’s pregnancy prevention program and food bank. OUR 2019 5K COLOR RUN and 1/4 MILE FUN RUN HAD 400+ PARTICIPANTS! (2020 - 2022 races cancelled due to COVID restrictions) Come early and enjoy the music and fun atmosphere!
