About the event
Mason, Texas, about 100 miles from Austin, San Angelo, and San Antonio, will hold its 10th annual Gem of the Hill Country 5 & 10k on September 24, 2016 @ 8:00am. Come and run the trail that was traveled by Native Americans, General Robert E. Lee, and numerous other historical figures that settled Texas. This race course is a good training course for individuals or teams that are training for future half or full marathons but easy enough for the novice runner or walker.
