Ghost of the Coast Fun Run

We are excited to announce that the Horry County Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a Fun Run and a Free open to all children Trunk or Treat at the Carolina Forest Recreation Center on October 26th, 2019. This event will be the grand opening of a newly created 5K run and walk trail behind the Carolina Forest Recreation Center. Costumes are encouraged for the Fun Run and awards will be given for best female adult costume, best male adult costume, best female child costume, best male child costume, best couple costume and best family costume. Fun Runners? will be rewarded with a themed medal at the finish line and all paid registrants will receive a Halloween themed race t-shirt. Immediately after the Fun Run, Horry County Parks and Recreation will host a free Trunk or Treat for all children of Horry County. The Trunk or Treat will feature games, face painting, and inflatables while numerous businesses and Horry County departments will be handing out candy to the children. Please join us for this great event!

$20 Early Bird registration now until 10/04/2019

$25 10/5/2019 to 10/23/2019

$30 Race Day Registration

Awards for best costumes will be given in the following categories:

Adult-1st, 2nd, 3rd place

Youth-1st, 2nd, 3rd place

Couple- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place

Family (3 or more persons)-1st, 2nd 3rd place
