Girl Scout Fall Color Run

November 17, 2018

Cinch up those shoes and start warming up, because the Girl Scouts are offering the first ever Girl Scout Fall Color Run in Mancos! Join us on Saturday, November 17, at 9:00am for a fun-filled 5K in the beautiful rolling hills behind Mancos. Wear your white shirt, because at every mile you’ll be doused with colored corn starch, transforming that white shirt into a colorful badge of honor. At the end, we’ll be offering refreshments and a sassy turkey medal. Free water bottles for the first fifty sign ups!

Adults are $20 and kids 8 and under $10 online. Prices increase to $25 for adults and $15 for kids on the day of the race.

This is not a timed race. We welcome runners, walkers, and ralkers. Bring a friend and burn off a few extra calories right before Thanksgiving, then enjoy that pie guilt-free…

Speaking of pie! After the race we’ll have a pie auction with a delicious variety of Thanksgiving-ready pies baked by our very own Girl Scouts. So bring a little extra cash and save yourself some time in the kitchen. Every cent earned goes to help the Cadettes visit NASA’s overnight camp in Houston this spring.

Thank you for joining us and supporting the girls. We’ll see you on race day!
