About the event
Join us for our SECOND annual GLOW for Galactosemia race event happening in Knoxville and VIRTUALLY on March 3, 2019!
We are an evening family friendly race event that is set up to raise awareness and funds for the Galactosemia Foundation. Never heard of Galactosemia?! Yeah, that was us before our 3rd daughter was born. Now the Galactosemia Foundation is a second family for us, and we are committed to educating our communities about the disorder as well as asking for your support in helping us find a cure and support our families.
The event itself is in the afternoon on March 3, 2019! We are set up locally in Tyson Park where we will have several activities for kids (best costume contest anyone?!), glow in the dark face painting, food trucks, and more! Our official events starts with the family fun run, which is a mile long... and will end with our 5k and 10k competitive (or not) races.
