Greenway Half Marathon & 5K

Join GCXC Racing for the inaugural Greenway Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday, November 12th, 2023.  

- Both courses run on the paved Little Beaver Creek Greenway Trail and begin and finish at the Leetonia Trailhead. If you GPS One St. Peter's Way, Leetonia you will be able to see where the trail starts.  As a reminder no parking at the trailhead on race day. 

- The Half Marathon begins at 8:00am and the 5K begins at 8:15am.  There is a 3-hour time limit for the half marathon.  

- Unique finisher medals for each distance and custom shirts guaranteed to those participants registered by November 1st.

- Participants will park at Leetonia High School and be bussed to the trailhead for the start of the race.  Busses are available from 7:00am-7:40am.  The address for Leetonia High School is:  450 Walnut Street, Leetonia, Ohio 44431.  Please be aware that there will be no parking at the trailhead.  The bus ride from the high school to the trail head is five minutes.   

- Bussing will be available to take participants back to the high school after the race.  Bussing will be available through 11:30am. 

- Packet pick-up will take place at Leetonia High School from 6:30am-7:30am.  

- Restrooms available at the Leetonia trailhead.  

- Bag check tags will be handed out at registration.  Tag your bag, carry on the shuttle with you and self-check it in at the gazebo at the start/finish.

- Refreshments and snacks are available at the finish line.  

- Overall and age group awards for both races.  Awards will be presented to participants shortly after they finish.  

-Group training runs starting mid-August.
