HEB Zoo Stampede

Cameron Park Zoo, along with H-E-B, is celebrating a HUGE year of the Cameron Park Zoo Stampede- It's the year of the ELEPHANT!

Saturday, November 9th, we will have our 26th Zoo Stampede.  Join us for our annual family fun run and run for the animals!  We have beautiful certified 5K and 10K courses as well as our uncertified 1K fun run and walk for people of all ages.  A chip timed run takes you through our award-winning zoological park and along and across the Brazos River, eventually leading you back for a wild finish line party at the zoo.  Your custom race shirt and race bib will represent our 26th birthday celebration!

If you register by October 30, 2019, 5 K participants will be guaranteed to receive a long-sleeved cotton event shirt; 10K participants will receive a long-sleeved technical event shirt.  Registered after that, you will get a shirt, of course, but we cannot guarantee you will get the size you want. So register early!!

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

After the race, join the fun at the Zoo’s Annual Wildlife Wonderland Experience.  Show your  race bib for free entry to the Cameron Park Zoo on November 9, 2019 and receive 10% off your purchases at the Zootique gift shop.

Schedule of Events:

Friday, November 8

11:00 am.-2:00 pm:  Packet pick-up and registration, zoo entrance.

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Packet pick-up and registration, zoo entrance.

Saturday, November 9

6:45am - 7:45am:  Race-day registration and packet pick-up

8:00am:  1K start, immediately inside zoo entrance

8:30am:  10K start, immediately inside zoo entrance

8:45 am: 5K start, immediately inside zoo entrance

Awards will be presented upon completion of the 5K and 10K. There are no awards for the 1K as it is non competitive and not timed.
