Hillman Run The Runway 5K

Saturday July 6th please join us for the first annual Run The Runway 5K / "Taste of Hillman"  being held at the Hillman airport. 

Funds for this event will go to the Wings of Mercy of East Michigan.

About Wings of Mercy East Michigan  Wings of Mercy East Michigan was founded in 1995 by Cody Welch.  Cody an airline pilot formed this non-profit corporation whose charter and mission is to provide free air transportation in general aviation aircraft to and from major medical centers for financially challenged and medically qualified individuals requiring transportation to distant medical centers for treatment of unique conditions not available in East Michigan.  Wings of Mercy has made a immeasurable difference to over 275 Recipients. Based upon experience upwards of 80% of those using Wings of Mercy services would not have been able to receive specialized medical treatment if our services were not available.

TASTE of HILLMAN -  Start the day with a Fly-in Breakfast at 7:00 am.  Throughout the Day enjoy a "Taste of Hillman" featuring local restaurants and many other business. Hillman has seven local restaurants that will be set up in a food court arraignment in order for you to meet each of them and see what taste they have to offer that makes them special.

Other local business will also be on hand to offer you a taste of their services and offerings.  Please stop by and learn of their services.

The airplanes that will be on display are for everyone to enjoy as well.  Pilots love to talk about their flying experiences and travels.  Please enjoy the many different makes and models.  Maybe explore the option of your next aviation experience.
