iHeartScarlett 5k & Family Fun Run

Get your heart racing in the beautiful community of Harborview in Northern Suffolk. Join us for a 1-mile family fun run, 5k race, kids zone, and after race party at Decent People Taproom with live bands and beverages courtesy of Smartmouth Brewing Company! Friends and family of John & Mackenzie Janin are hosting a fun-filled event to raise funds for the medical care of their baby girl, Scarlett Monroe.  On December 8, 2018, Scarlett was born with Tetralogy of the Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia with MAPCAS and VSD; in essecnce she has no pulmonary artery along with several other accompanying congenital heart diseases. Her first of multiple open heart surgeries was performed on March 16, 2016 at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. For a $30 registration fee, 5k Participants will receive a race day t-shirt, event koozie, and one pint of free beer (for those over age 21). **To guarantee your shirt will be ordered, please complete your registration by Sunday, May 20th. All registrations after this date will not be guarantee a shirt!

For a $20 registration fee, Family Fun Run Participants can enjoy a fun 1-mile run for the whole family! Fun Run participants over age 21 will receive an event koozie and free pint of beer. Participants under the age of 21 will have access the kids zone which includes face painting, balloon animals, bubbles, and games. **Families must include each family member's name during registration. Each family must consist of at least 2 and no more than 6 participants. 

Race check-in will be available on Friday, June 1st at Decent People Taproom from 5:00 - 7:00pm and at the event registration tent on Saturday, June 2nd from 8:30 - 9:45am. At check-in, you will receive your event bracelet, swag bag, and confirmation of waiver signature. Event bracelets must be worn and visible in order to participate in either walk/run and after-race party.
