Event Name: Jake's Run4Play 2016

Event Type: 5k Run and 1-mile walk

Date: October 2, 2016

Location is Delran High School area, Hartford Rd near sight for Jakes Place Delran playground. Site map for run will be posted by June 15.

Run starts at 8am

Walk starts at 8:15

Registration opens at 6:45am

There will be cash awards for the first 3 finishers in the male and female groups run participants.

 $200.00 for 1st, $100.00 for 2nd, and $50.00 for 3rd.

There will be age group awards for the top 3 male and female in the following age groups:

13 and under, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

There will be awards for each school for children who raise money by way of pledges above and beyond the registration fee. Top 3 fund raisers for each school will receive awards.

Awards will be presented after both run/walk end, and a light continental breakfast served on sight.

Everyone who registers before September 1 will receive a run/walk tee-shirt; after that while supplies last and a participation medal made especially for the Delran playground project.

Early bird registration begins Saturday May 21 and goes through June 30th. Early bird registration is $15 student and $20 adult. July 1st goes to $20 student and $25 adult. September 1st all entries are $25.

Proceeds benefit the playground and programs of Build Jakes Place. It will benefit the children in our community and allow all to play, grow and have fun side by side togerther.
