John E. Norman Cinco de Mayo 10k & 5k Race

Fun family event where we celebrate the Cinco de Mayo and promote a healthy life style.We have lots of activities for the kids and a display of the Mexican Culture,we also have traditional dancers coming to preform for the crowd. This year we will hold a costume contest anyone can participate. Cash-prizes will be given to the top 3 overall men and women. Runners come out and enjoy a fun time with the family and friends.

The John E. Norman the Cinco de Mayo event is Fayetteville’s best kept secret road race, every year over 400 runners take part of this signature event and battle for cash prizes; the Cinco de Mayo family also like to bring climbing Walls for kids, face painter and color station and traditional folk dancing. Also we remember the founder Julio Ramirez and keep his spirit alive.
