About the event
Joppa 5K is a road run with the last half mile finish in the sand at Michigan Beach. The majority of elevation gain takes place at the beginning. The course takes you through residential areas, including the parking lot of Joppa House and along picturesque Lake Shore Drive. A one mile backstretch on West Garfield will allow you to view the whole field of runners. Please note : the course descends on wooden sandy stairs to the beach. Exercise caution!!
Early Packet Pickup will be available on Friday May 18, 2018 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Michigan Beach Park Pavillion, 95 N Grant St, Charlevoix.
