Kansas City Spirit 5K

Don’t miss the chance to be a part of an historic race right here in Kansas City! The KC Spirit 5K is a competitive 5K driven by the spirit of a people who relentlessly strive for greater heights. If you have this spirit, you want to be there on June 23, 2018. The only question is… HAVE YOU QUALIFIED YET? Run a qualifying time at another 5K and then sign up for this race! Space is limited and the race will be capped.

DATE: Saturday, June 23, 2018

LOCATION: The race starts on Truman Rd, just east of The Paseo.  The race finishes near the intersection of The Paseo & E 17th Terrace

START TIME: The first wave will begin at 7:30 AM.  The start of the race will be broken up into waves based on the time you registered with.  If you run a faster qualifying 5K time after registering for the event, email [email protected] to update your seeding.  

AWARDS/PRIZES: Cash prizes will be given to the top 5 Overall Male and Female finishers, plus the top overall Masters Male and Female Finisher.  Awards will also be given to the top 3 finishers in each age group.  Overall winners do not qualify for age group awards. 

SPECTATORS: We encourage spectators to cheer anywhere along the route!  The course is lined with wide sidewalks and plenty of scenic cheering locations.
