About the event
The Kennebec Mountain Run is an alpine trail/jeep road race held in the La Plata Mountains, thirty minutes west of Durango, Colorado. The 15-mile course features 3,100 feet of elevation gain and tops out on Kennebec Pass (12,200 ft) with sweeping views of the Animas and Dolores River Valleys.
Proceeds benefit La Plata County Search & Rescue.
