LA Fur and Wildlife Festival 5K & 1 Mile - Cameron

9th Annual Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival 5K & 1 Mile 

 

Race Date & Time:      January 13, 2024 @ 8:00 AM Race Address:            107 Recreation Center Ln                                      Cameron, LA 70631   The race will start and finish at the Festival Grounds.  Race course map will be posted soon.   Registration Fees (Early & Late Fees & dates): 5K & 1 Mile fees are $35 early registration until Jan. 11th and $40 race day  

 

With your registration fee you will receive a t-shirt (if registered by Jan. 7th) and a free admission wrist band for admission into the La Fur and Wildlife Festival grounds.  This year the LA Fur and Wildlife Festival is honoring the Fur & Alligator Industry.   Online Registration Closes on Jan. 11th at midnight.  

 

Race day registration available starting at 7:00 am but will not include a T-shirt.  Race Starts at 8 am.

 

T-shirts are guaranteed only to registrations done by Jan. 7th at midnight.  There will be no t-shirt given with registrations after January 7th.

 

There will be no event t-shirts sold at the race.

 

Awards for 5K:   Overall Male will receive an Alligator Wallet and Overall Female will receive an Alligator Purse. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in each age group below. All participants will receive an alligator tooth necklace.   Age Groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 & 60+   Packet Pickup (Location, Date & Time): Is at 7:00 am race morning at the race site   The Race Benefits the Cameron Masonic Lodge # 439   If you need more information please contact Rusty Welch @ [email protected]    Cameron Parish Triple Crown Race Series The first race is the Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival 5K.   The 2nd race is the Gibbstown Bridge 5K held on April 13, 2024. https://runsignup.com/Race/LA/Creole/GibbstownBridge5K The final race is the Lighthouse Run 5K/10K held in October.  https://runsignup.com/Race/LA/Cameron/LighthouseRun. Finish all 3 events in the calendar year and receive a special medal after the beach 10K.
